end of a chapter:
i am awe-struck by the occurrences of this year. i am humbled by what i’ve learned and have solid conviction that i know so little.
every opportunity, i attempted to extract value. i squeezed blood from stones. there are many successes, but even greater failures.
from these, i will learn. from these, i will improve.
our world is not just and the game is rigged. wide-spread, incalculable inequality. penthouses aside the homeless, vehicles that cost single-family homes alongside a crippled public transit infrastructure. laws and reform that are swiss-cheesed with loopholes that ultimately serve those with, not those without.
what can i do about this? how can i escape this rat-race? is there an emergency-exit? a hatch from which i crawl out of?
no, no, &n no. there are no easy ways out. we start by cutting a path in the deep forest, continually walking and re-walking until the dirt underneath our feet is firm. from there, we pave.

the musings of a half-witted seer, peering into the already-unfolding future:
the Internet & connected online identity is experiencing a schism, on-chain and off-chain. centralized and safe-guarded, decentralized and transparent.
compute is ever-accelerating. networks, ever-complex. identity, nameless.
we will exist in two worlds. the physical and the digital. our worlds have split and they will exist in parallel but separate planes.
what forces, societies, markets, & technologies will arise from our new digital plane of existence?
how will the digital world be governed? simple, by us.
our votes, non-fungible, our identifies cryptographically hashed and verified. trust? this plane is trust-less.
