battered by the sea

hello, hello. we can now count down the number of days until crimbo on a single, not-malformed or permanently disfigured hand with all fingers remaining.

recently, i’ve been getting battered by an endless sea. as soon as i solve one problem and crest a wave, oh great — i accelerate down its back and slide headfirst into the next wave.

my eyes burning from the salt water and quite honestly, my stamina has faded.

maybe it’s just one of those chapters in life i can look back on with self-schadenfreude (is that a thing?) and reminisce on how exhausting it felt some days.

but we must always search for the silver-lining. all this work and problem-addressing is for an eventual benefit yet to be realized.

once i’m on the other side of the bigger journeys, i’ll let you know.
